The Enterprise Chief Data Office (ECDO) team seeks the assistance of an Agilist and Project Manager, combining agile-at-scale methodologies, expertise in the latest technologies, strong business acumen, and organizational skills to effectively manage ECDO projects as a versatile Agile expert. This individual will play a critical role in driving innovation within the ECDO and OAG-at-large. As the agile facilitator and expert within the ECDO, the ideal candidate will assume a pivotal role in coordinating all teams and efforts using agile-at-scale methodology. Their leadership will guide teams through agile practices, fostering collaboration, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This position demands a robust background in agile methodologies, proficiency in project management, excellent communication and organization skills, and a fervent dedication to driving organizational change.

Leadership Agile Project Management Provide leadership and hands-on support in the development and execution of agile methodologies to enhance project outcomes and foster continuous improvement. Oversee daily agile practices within project teams, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives, utilizing frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban. Champion adherence to agile principles and best practices as the organization continues to adopt and evolve its agile project management approach. Leverage project management tools such as JIRA, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, and similar platforms to support effective planning, tracking, and reporting. Partner with internal stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities, ensuring alignment with both strategic goals and agile methodologies. Communicate project status, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner to support informed decision-making and maximize project impact. Lead efforts to scale agile practices across projects, adapting frameworks to suit the unique needs and challenges of the OAGs Child Support Division.Team Coordination and Facilitation: Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment ofproject initiatives. Work alongside other ECDO actors, program managers, and technologists to ensure agile projects are completed on time and with quality. Serve as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, guiding teams through agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering self-organization and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project challenges and opportunities, and translate them intoactionable project requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and Agile principles. Lead agile ceremonies, facilitate the removal of blockers, and proactively collaborate withsubject matter experts to support sprint teams in achieving their goals.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with technology programs and projects, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards. Assist in the risk management of data across the organization. Proactively address issues and challenges that may impact project timelines or objectives.Will often lead, mentor, or guide others across teams and functionalities.Performs related work as assigned.Maintains relevant knowledge necessary to perform essential job functions.Attends work regularly in compliance with agreed-upon work schedule. Telework schedules are permitted for employees based on the agencys approved Telework Plan (if schedule does not adversely affect operations and service levels, and standard hours of operation are maintained).Ensures security and confidentiality of sensitive and/or protected information.Complies with all agency policies and procedures, including those pertaining to ethics and integrity.
Qualifications: Project Manager III:Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent.Experience: Six years of full-time experience working in the following (or closely related) fields: project management, program management, data governance, data management, cybersecurity, data analysis, development, programming, and/or IT business analysis or related field; may substitute credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.Experience in exceptional leadership and team management, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of technical professionals.Knowledge and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, agile project management, change management, and technology operations.Knowledge and strong working acumen of technology to include previous programming experiences.Skill in effective oral and written communication with good presentation skills to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to executive management and external stakeholders.Skill in effectively preparing and executing program-related reporting to a myriad of audiences. Skill in mentoring and coaching business, technical, and data stewards, fostering a data-driven culture.Skill in exercising sound judgment and effective decision making, with the ability to receive and respond positively to constructive feedback provided by your peers, subordinates, and superiors.Skill in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.Ability to think strategically, solve problems creatively, and adapt to changing priorities.Ability to collaborate across functional teams and influence peers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.Ability to drive the consistent implementation of data governance policies and best practices.Ability to learn the facets of agile-at-scale as it relates to the Office of the Attorney General and work with a myriad of agile actors to accomplish our strategic goals.Ability to work in person at an OAG work location for more than 40 hours, as required and in accordance with the FLSA, and, if necessary, to arrange personal transportation for business-related travel.Ability to lift and relocate 10 lbs.Ability to arrange for personal transportation for business-related travel, as required, and travel (including overnight travel) up to 10%Project Manager IV All of the above qualifications for a Project Manager III, plus:Experience: Two additional years of full-time experience working in the following (or closely related) fields: project management, program management, data governance, data management, cybersecurity, data analysis, development, programming, and/or IT business analysis or related field; may substitute credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.Project Manager V Al
